Hospice Services – Here for You

It was nearly 40 years ago when a caring group of local hospital volunteers knew that there had to be a better way of caring for the terminally ill. They believed a person should be able to pass with dignity while surrounded by their loved ones at home, and at peace. Thanks to the compassionate actions of these volunteers, community support, and the thousands of volunteers and staff that have served these past 40 years, today we are a Medicare-certified Hospice providing our end-of-life care to over 1,100 patients each year throughout our 4-county service area. Our Hospice exists to support our community, but it couldn’t exist without the support of our community.

In fact, just last year in Cayuga County, our dedicated staff traveled over 65,000 miles and provided nearly 5,000 patient-care days. In Onondaga County, they traveled over 251,000 miles and provided over 34,000 patient-care days.

In Oswego County, our dedicated staff traveled over 114,000 miles and provided nearly 6,000 patient-care days, and in Madison County, they traveled over 10,000 miles and provided nearly 750 patient-care days.

Over the miles and through the years, we’re here for you.
