BEREAVEMENT SERVICES FOR OUR COMMUNITY

Grief Support Groups

When someone we care about dies, many people experience deep emotional and spiritual pain. The impact is also great when you or someone you love is dealing with a serious illness or a recent diagnosis. At such times, support from family, friends, clergy and others who have gone through similar experience can be helpful. But sometimes, we need more. Sometimes we need the guidance of trained counselors to help us to heal.

The professional staff of Hospice have many years of experience in helping those affected by loss and grief. To foster hope and growth, we offer group counseling combined with emotional, psychological, and spiritual insights.

Grief support groups are generally offered spring and fall for Spouse/Partner Loss and Parent Loss. Both groups meet weekly for 6 weeks at our 990 7th North Street, Liverpool, NY location.

Because the death of a loved one often brings financial hardship along with countless other losses, we do not charge a fee or bill insurance for our counseling services. Instead, we ask community clients to help with program costs through voluntary donations.
