A Special Camp for Grieving Children
Camp Healing Hearts is a four-day camp for children who have experienced the death of a loved one or special person. Age-appropriate groups provide an opportunity for children to interact with peers who are also coping with grief.
Children entering the first through sixth grade in September are eligible to participate. Proof of COVID-19 vaccination will be required with application. Camp will take place August 22 – 25, 2022 at YMCA Camp Evergreen in Manlius, NY.
Camp Healing Hearts is staffed by Hospice of Central New York and Hospice of the Finger Lakes professionals and specially trained volunteers.

Volunteer Opportunities Available!
We have a number of volunteer positions available for our four-day Camp. If you enjoy working with children in grades 1st – 6th, please consider being a Camp Volunteer! (All volunteers must be 16 years or older, provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination, and attend required training sessions in early August)
