We are pleased to now be a part of the Run for Hospice, taking place on Saturday, July 6th, at the Cayuga Street Park Pavilion in Fair Haven.  The Race began in 2005 with only 95 runners and raised just $600 for Hospice.  The race has grown remarkably to 350-450 participants each year, raising close to $50,000 since its inception.

Not only has the race become a wonderful event for Hospice, it has also become a great community event and part of the annual Fair Haven Fourth of July festivities.  Following the race, there is a lot to enjoy in Fair Haven, from the carnival, to the chicken BBQ, craft show, fireworks, shopping among the vendors and eating at one of the local restaurants in this beautiful town on the shores of Lake Ontario.

You can join this fun tradition; registration is now open.  The race is a USA Track and Field certified 5K, with chip timing.  You can join a team as you approach the checkout on the site.  For participants under the age of 13, click on “special pricing”.  Donations can be made and those wanting to volunteer can also sign up on the Run Sign-up site.  Save money and be guaranteed a tee shirt by registering before June 20th. Come join the fun and support Hospice services.
