Spirits were high and much fun was had by all at our 28th annual September Song on Friday, September 15th. Over 150 friends of Hospice joined together to support patients and families and to celebrate our dear friend, Maryann Roefaro. The “Fabulous Fifties” theme was fully embraced by men and women alike donning poodle skirts, bobby socks, “greaser attire” and polka dots. The place was sock-hoppin’! There was also some fierce bidding wars at the silent auction and some attendees went home with a fabulous once-in-a-lifetime vacation.
With the generous support of our corporate and private donors, over $100,000 was raised to support local terminally ill patients and their families. Thank you to everyone who participated in this event. It was a wonderful display of generosity by the Central New York community.
