In the early days of the Mountain Goat Run, runners were called Super Goats because of the difficulty of the course. At Hospice of CNY we are looking for a new version of Super Goats, runners that can commit to the challenge of the race as well as to raising money for Hospice while they train. If you think you can be a Super Goat we need you! Hospice of Central New York has received five bibs for this year’s Mountain Goat, scheduled for May 6th. We are searching for five runners who can commit to the 10-mile hilly course and raise money for Hospice of CNY while they train.
Your run in the Mountain Goat could benefit the 1,100 patients and families we serve each year. When you make the commitment, we will provide you with a t-shirt just for signing up. Hospice staff will be updating you weekly on your progress and providing you with a list of those who have donated to your run. When you reach the $1,500 minimum you will have the opportunity to honor someone with a brick in our Solace Garden. When you raise $2,500 you will receive a brick and a Hospice of Central New York water-resistant soft shell jacket. If you raise over $5,000 you will get all of the above, and we will honor YOU with a brick in our Solace Garden displaying your name, the date of the race and how much you raised.
If you would like to be a “Super Goat” for Hospice patients and their families with your run, please call Preslie Fields at 315-634-1100 or email email@example.com.
