Take a Trip Down Memory Lane

Twenty years ago feels like just yesterday to some and a lifetime ago for others.  For us here at Hospice, 1998 was certainly a notable year.

How about we take a trip down memory lane?  It was 1998 when Google was founded and Elton John was knighted.  It was also the year that The Titanic won 11 Oscars at the Academy Awards and John Glenn traveled to space at the age of 77.  Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston were still married, as were Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman and yes, it was the year that the final episode of Seinfeld was aired.

It was also the year that the first ever Hospice Golf Open was hosted.  In the 20 years since, nearly $1.1 million has been raised for Hospice of Central New York through this long-standing tradition that both golfers and volunteers look forward to each year.  We are forever grateful!

Help us celebrate at the 20thanniversary of the Hospice Golf Open on Friday, June 15that The Links at Erie Village in East Syracuse.  Join us!  Together we can continue to make an impact for our community by providing hope, comfort and dignity to local families faced with life-limiting illness. Imagine how much we can raise over the next 20 years and how many lives will be impacted!

Registration is open now and sponsorships are available.  Sign up today!
