WAYS TO GIVE  

Hospice of Central New York is dedicated to supporting and caring for those with serious illness and their loved ones during difficult times. We offer our services to any person, regardless of age, type of disease or the ability to pay. We rely on charitable gifts to the Hospice Foundation of Central New York to carry out our work and to enhance programs to better meet the needs of the communities we serve. Your gift helps Hospice of CNY provides hope, comfort, support and healing when there is no cure. Thank You! 

ANNUAL GIFTS ~ Annual donations, in any amount, provide important resources for current programs. Gifts given annually help Hospice provide direct care to patients and families and assist those who need hospice care but may not have the ability to pay. 

MEMORIAL GIFTS ~ A memorial gift is a meaningful way to honor the memory of someone who has touched your life. Often, families specify in funeral notices that memorial contributions be made to the Hospice Foundation of Central New York. 

PLANNED GIFTS ~ Planned gifts make it possible for you to give a more substantial gift than you have ever imagined.  There are many types of planned gifts, from simple bequests in a will or an estate plan, to annuities, charitable remainder trusts, charitable lead trusts, pooled income, life insurances and live estates.  If you are interested in making a planned gift, you should speak with your financial advisor about which gift is best for your financial situation.   

ENDOWMENT GIFTS ~ A way to ensure Hospice care is available to future generations is to support Hospice’s endowment. Endowment gifts are retained in perpetuity, producing resources that will provide services and programs for future generations. Those who give $25,000 or more (one time gift or structured over a 5-year period) will have the opportunity of establishing a named endowed fund. Such named funds can be a wonderful legacy for donors.  

IN KIND ~ Examples of in-kind gifts include office equipment, training aids, books, medical equipment, food and beverages for special events, silent auction items and more.  Please note that we will only accept gifts-in-kind that our organization can use to further our mission.  If you would like to make an in-kind donation, please contact us at (315) 634-1100.  In order to receive a possible tax deduction for your gift, you must complete a Gift-In-Kind Donation Form.  

AUTOMOBILE PROGRAM ~ The donation of your used car, truck, boat or RV to Hospice is quick, simple and often results in significant tax advantages.  

AUXILIARY ~ The Auxiliary to Hospice Foundation of Central New York is a membership organization of volunteers dedicated to supporting Hospice by promoting and increasing the awareness of Hospice services in our community through volunteer services and financial support to Hospice. Read More
