WARNING: TELEPHONE SCAM

Hospice of Central New York has received word from several people about a local phone scam. People are calling residents claiming to be from Hospice of Central New York and asking for money to support Hospice or the Hospice Foundation of Central New York. 

This is a scam.

Hospice never solicits for money or raises any type of funds by telephone. If you receive such a phone call never offer any personal information. If the phone caller persists or if you have given out personal information you may want to call your local police agency. It was a little over a month ago that this type of telephone scam was first reported.

The 14th annual SADA Charity Preview is coming up soon! Hospice of Central New York hopes you make a return visit to the best party of the year and support our mission. This year’s event is scheduled for Wednesday, February 15, 2012 at the OnCenter.  Tickets are $125 each.  If you have never been to Charity Preview check out this video!
