Wayne Fuller was a musician and entertainer. He loved to share his talent with family, friends and all of Central New York. Wayne, a Hospice of Central New York and Hospice of the Finger Lakes patient died this past week. What he brought to all of us was his shared passion for music and that never stopped despite a serious illness. At Hospice we talk a lot about our focus being how a person lives their life not how one leaves this life.
Wayne Fuller is a perfect example of this. The video above was made just 2 days before his death. It obviously gave him great comfort to share his music and his joy right up until the end. He will be missed.
At Hospice we want our patients and their families to have the opportunity to make the best of the time they have left, to surround themselves with the things and people they love. Wayne Fuller clearly did and we hope you will take this example when facing a life-limiting illness.
