Hospice Podcast: Become a Volunteer!

Michele Devlin, Volunteer Coordinator

Now that the days are getting shorter and colder…many people have a little extra time on their hands and are looking to give back to the community. The Hospice of CNY Volunteer program is the perfect opportunity for people who want to help people in a very special way. Our “family volunteer care givers” are specially trained and have continued support that focuses on offering the very best respite care for Hospice patients and their families.

Central New York has many deserving organizations that are looking for people to volunteer. When you offer your time and talents to Hospice of CNY know that those efforts will go to help your friends and neighbors right here in your community. Many of our volunteers establish life-time friendships with the families they serve. Our next training class starts  Thursday, April 5th, 2018 and continues for a total of 8 consecutive Thursdays: 4/12, 4/19, 4/26, 5/3, 5/10, 5/17 concluding on 5/24! Call now to register at 315-634-1100.
